William U. Danenza, age 84, passed away at Baystate Medical Center on April 20, 2024. He was born on February 11, 1940 in Springfield, son of the late Francis P. Danenza and Antoinette E. (Favreau) Danenza. William served in the US Army. He later worked as a machinist for Pratt and Whitney Co., for many years before he retired. He is survived by his loving wife Barbara (DiSanti) Danenza of Chicopee; his children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews all of his extended family and many friends, all of whom he loved deeply. Calling hours will be held on the morning of the funeral, Tuesday, April 30, 2024, from 10:00 – 11:00 AM at the Grise Funeral Home, 280 Springfield St, Chicopee followed by an In House Prayer Service at 11:00 AM.
