Lois Gertrude Terrell, 92, of Tifton passed away Wednesday, March 5, 2003, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service was held for Ms. Terrell at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2003, at New River Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton, where she was laid to rest. The Rev. Dr. Danny Ray officiated.
Mrs. Terrell's great-nephews served as pallbearers.
Born March 16, 1910, in Carroll County, Ms. Terrell was the daughter of the late John M. Terrell and Sarah Thomas Allen Terrell. She retired from the Tifton Cotton Mill; and she was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Tifton.
Ms. Terrell is survived by her nephew, Jimmie Terrell, Sr. of Jolton, Tennessee.
