Christine Wells Trevena, 82, of Fitzgerald, formerly of Tifton, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2003, at Fitzgerald Nursing Home. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, December 14, 2003, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals. Ms. Trevena was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
Mrs. Trevena's nephews served as pallbearers.
Born September 6, 1921, in Bacon County, Ms. Trevena was the daughter of the late Joe Wells and Lelia Stubbs Wells. She was also preceded in death by one granddaughter; two brothers; and two sisters. She retired from the Varsity Drive-In; and then did childcare in her home. She was a member of Tifton's First Assembly of God.
Ms. Trevena is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Billy and Laura Trevena of Fitzgerald; one brother, J. W. Wells of Tifton; and one sister, Edith Folsom of Moultrie.
