Carol A. (Fafard) D’Ostroph, age 75, of Brockton, died on April 13, 2024 at Good Samaritan Medical Center. Carol was the wife of Randy B. D’Ostroph, Sr. A lifelong resident of Brockton, she was the daughter of Jean B. and Louise T. (Prosper) Fafard.
She was a graduate of Brockton High School and for many years worked in customer service.
Known to be funny and goofy, Carol was also loving, compassionate, loyal and generous. She enjoyed Bingo, going to the casino and trying new recipes. She was famous for her meatballs.
Carol was the mother of Marci L. D’Ostroph and her partner Joy Martell of Brockton and the late Randy B. D’Ostroph, Jr. who died on April 12, 2024. Carol was the grandmother of Breanna Kelle, Kayla D’Ostroph and her husband Ryan Mendes, Isabella D’Ostroph and her husband Tyrese Cardoza and Randy J. D’Ostroph. She was the great grandmother of Emmitt Kelle, Damon Kelle, Avaeyah Cardoza and Jeziah Mendes. Carol was the sister of William Fafard and the late Edward Fafard and the sister in law of Cheryl Fafard and Diane Fafard.
Visitation will be held for both Carol and her son Randy in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte 123) Brockton on Thursday, May 2 from 9:30-11:30am followed by a Funeral Service at 11:30am. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
