Venise Colas, age 57, of Brockton, passed away on April 13, 2024, at her home.
Born in Cap-Haitien, Haiti on June 11, 1966, she was the daughter of Rosemene Dolce and the late Luc Colas.
She worked in the hotel industry for many years. Venise enjoyed traveling, cooking, and being around her family. She was a loving mother and a caring and outgoing person, often going the extra mile, and putting others before herself. Her heart was one of a kind.
Besides her mother, she leaves her children, Wilven Etienne, Vedly Etienne, and Jean Valery Monfort, as well her siblings Jean Colas, Mimerose Fouquet, Magaly Manigat, and Anne Colas as well as several nieces and nephews.
Her visitation will be held on Friday, April 26, 2024, from 8:30 am to 9:45 am, in the Conley Funeral Home, 138 Belmont Street (Rte. 123) Brockton, followed by Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 am, in Saint Edith Stein Church, 71 East Main Street, Brockton. The interment will be in Calvary Cemetery, N. Cary Street, Brockton.
