It is with a heavy heart that I must announce the passing of Thelma Henry on March 30, 2024. Thelma passed away at the age of 91 at Copley at Stoughton at 6am. Thelma is preceded in death by her mother Augusta McIsaac and father Nelson McIsaac, her sister Phyllis, her son Allan Davis, and her Grandson Christopher Davis. Thelma is survived by her son Ralph Davis, her daughter-in-law Rosemarie Davis, as well as their respective children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. Thelma Henry was born on March 10, 1933, in West Roxbury to Augusta and Nelson McIsaac. Thelma remained in West Roxbury through school until her graduation from high school. Thelma did not attend college but went to work for various companies doing an assortment of jobs including many retail positions demonstrating her love for people and her capacity for kindness. She had 2 sons, Ralph Davis and Allan Davis whom she raised in West Roxbury. While in life, Thelma had many hobbies including reading, cooking, and gardening to name a few. She loved to host the family as well, always having everyone together under the same roof for the annual Christmas party. Thelma loved her family and when it came to her grandchildren, she would do anything in the world to make them happy. Whether it be taking them to the zoo or teaching them how to cook, she would spend hours and her last cent bringing joy to her grandchildren. Always one with a large heart, Thelma often adopted the various animals in her neighborhood who had no one to claim them as their own. Thelma Henry was a woman who wore many hats and went by many names: Daughter, Sister, Partner, Aunt, Mother, Grandmother, Great Grandmother, Friend, Chef, Teacher, Babysitter, Gardener, and many others. Thelma will be missed by all those who knew her, from acquaintances to the closest friend and family member. While this announcement comes with a heavy heart, I implore you to think on the many fond memories of Thelma Henry and find solace in the fact that she is at peace. Services are private.
