Jackie was born in Boston, MA in 1939 to John F. and Helen V. Leary. She is survived by her three loving daughters, Jennifer (Jemma) Boyle, Jacqueline Boyle, and Elizabeth (Betsy) Boyle; her two adored grandchildren, Eva Joll and Peter Joll; and the father of her five children, her former husband, Michael J. Boyle. Jackie was predeceased by her sons, Anthony (Tony) Boyle and Peter Boyle, and by her siblings Donald Leary, Ellen Swider, and Peggy Moylan. She loved her large extended family, and her many nieces and nephews will miss their Aunt Jackie.
Jackie was an endlessly creative person, finding joy in travel, literature, music, cooking, gardening, needlework and crafts of all kinds, and especially writing. She returned to school in her fifties and proudly earned her Master’s degree in Social Work. She will always be remembered for her affectionate and giving nature, her great love of beauty, her free spirit, and her boundless enthusiasm for life.
