Eleanor (Cheeseman) (Jablonsky) Chamberlain
...retired from American Biltrite Corp; 84
TEWKSBURY - Eleanor (Cheeseman) (Jablonsky) Chamberlain, age 84, a resident of the
Saunders Circle Senior community, died Saturday night, July 15, at Saints Memorial Medical
Center in Lowell, after a brief illness.. She was the wife of the late Charles E. Chamberlain Jr.
who died June 1, 1983.
She was born in Everett on February 18, 1922 the daughter of the late Christopher and Catherine
(Hubbard) Cheeseman. She was raised in Gloucester, but lived a greater part of her life in Revere
and Saugus. She had lived in Tewksbury since 1990.
She retired after thirty years from the American Biltrite Corp. at age 60. She was a communicant
of St. William’s Church and member of Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality at St. William’s Church.
She was also a member of the Tewksbury Golden Age Club, and a frequent visitor to the
Tewksbury Senior Drop-In Center.
She is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, Stephen and his wife Mary Ann ( Forand)
Jablonsky of Sterling, MA; one daughter and son-in-law, Jacqueline (Jablonsky) Cote and her
husband Peter of Tewksbury; one sister and brother-in-law, Winifred and Eugene Lang of
Winthrop; one sister-in-law Edith Cheeseman of Iowa; six grandchildren, Juliann, Katrina, and
Adriana Jablonsky, Jennifer and her husband Lewis Bohannon, Peter C. and his wife Christine
Cote, Nichole and her husband Michael Gabriel; eleven great grandchildren; and many nieces,
nephews and cousins.
She was also a sister of the late Arthur Cheeseman and Charles LeBlanc.

Her Funeral Mass was celebrated Wednesday, July 19, in St. William’s Church,
Tewksbury.
Burial was in Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody.
