Carol A. (Texeira) Pereira, 62 of Lowell, passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Fairhaven Healthcare Center. She was the beloved companion of the late Barry Bilapka for many years.
She was born on December 20, 1961 in Lowell and was the youngest of ten children of the late John and Helen (Wyman) Texeira. Growing up in Lowell, she attended local schools, including the E. N. Rogers Grammar School and Lowell High School.
Carol loved trips to the Beach and loved music especially since she had a beautiful voice that entertained all who heard her. Most of all, Carol loved her family especially her grandchildren
Carol was survived by her three children, Tyler Bilapka, Mandy Pereira, and Joe Pereira and his wife, Samantha, all of Lowell; her beloved grandchildren; her siblings, John Texeira and his wife, Mary, of Tyngsboro, Patricia Dutily of Lowell, Marylou Briand and her husband, Bruce, of Hudson, NH, Shirley Texeira of Lowell, and Dave Texeira and his wife, Maryann, of Lowell; and many nieces and nephews.
She was also predeceased by her brother, Roland Texeira and her sisters, Phyllis Texeira, Judy Texeira, and Susan Ponte.
At her request, there were no funeral services.
