EAST LONGMEADOW – Cherrilyn A. “Cherie” (Richter) Stone, 76, of East Longmeadow, was Called Safely Home on Wednesday, April 17, 2024. She was born in Springfield on April 30, 1947, a beloved daughter of the late Walter L. and Barbara M. (Bassett) Richter. She was raised in West Springfield and moved to East Longmeadow in1987. She leaves her loving son, Bill Stone; her four cherished grandchildren, Brittany Bernardi, Lauren Stone, Katelynn Bernardi and Nicholas Bernardi; her two cherished great grandchildren, Kayden Bernardi and Emma Bernardi; her dear brother, Walter Richter and his wife, Regina; her special friend who was like her daughter, Michelle Lee and her husband Chuck; her three dear nieces and their families, her cousins, her numerous friends, and extended family members. Her relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Wednesday morning, April 24, 2024 from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a Celebration f Life Service at 11 a.m. at the St. Pierre – Phaneuf Aldenville Chapels (413-532-9806), 13 Dale Street, Chicopee, MA 01020.
