Obituary

Mary Christine (Brady) Kuhn, 74, of Medway, formerly of St. Louis, Missouri, entered into eternal rest on April 14, 2024 surrounded by her loving family following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late Robert F. Kuhn who passed away in 2020.

Born in St. Louis, Missouri, December 19,1949, the daughter of the late John T. and Jane J. (Reinschmidt) Brady, Mary was raised and had lived in St. Louis, MO until moving to Medway, MA four years ago.

While living in St. Louis Mary had been active in many groups. She dedicated her time and energy to not only raising her family but to giving back to her community and helping others. She organized fundraisers for the March of Dimes foundation and St. Louis University Lupus Foundation as well as supported many charitable events at St. Joseph’s Academy and Visitation Academy.

Mary and her husband, Bob, had many great friends in St. Louis. They celebrated life often and traveled the world together. From the elaborate Halloween parties in the 1980’s to weekly dinners at the best local restaurants and their country club, they enjoyed spending time with those that filled their cup and brought them great happiness. Mom loved to play bridge weekly and enjoyed learning new games that challenged her mind.

Following the death of her husband in 2020, Mary made the choice to start a new chapter in her life, bravely relocating to the Boston area to be close to her granddaughters. As one of the first residents at the Willows in Medway, Mary built a community around herself where she was engaged in all activities. Given her social and friendly nature, as well as her quick wit and sense of humor, Mary quickly fostered new and meaningful friendships. She was able to spend time with her granddaughters and see them often. Her memories and strength will be present with them as they continue to grow into the little women they are becoming. With many frequent trips made by her daughter, Emily, she was able to be surrounded by family and enjoy many memories that will last beyond her lifetime. Her siblings and nieces enjoyed coming to visit and seeing all the beauty of New England. Mary’s presence in Medway opened a new world to all of her family. Julie’s in-laws welcomed Mary into their family traditions and enjoyed celebrating holidays and birthdays together.

Mary is survived by her daughters, Emily C. Kuhn of Ft. Worth, Texas and Julie E. Cornoni and her husband Michael of Franklin as well as her granddaughters, Liliana and Alessandra Cornoni of Franklin. She is also survived by her siblings, Michael Brady, Daniel Brady, James Brady, and Anne (Brady) Mathews of St. Louis and their spouses. Mary had many beloved nieces and nephews, cousins, extended family, and life-long friends that she adored and cherished the time she was able to spend with them and their children. Family was a cornerstone in Mary’s life and she treasured her time with each and every one of them.

There will be a celebration of Mary’s life held on May 17th, 2024 at Primavera in Millis, MA from 4:00 - 7:00 pm.
