Kevin F. Harrington, age 59, of East Bridgewater, died on April 14, 2024. A son of Marjorie (Adams) Harrington and the late Robert J. Harrington, Kevin was raised in Brockton’s Brookfield neighborhood and was a graduate of Brockton High School class of 1983.
Kevin enjoyed a lengthy career in the food industry. He began his career at Purity Supreme in Brockton and also worked at Poland Springs as a CDL driver and sales manager. He then switched from water to coffee as an Independent Sales representative for Peets Coffee, playing an instrumental role in expanding the brand in the Northeast. From coffee he transitioned to snacks, working for McKee Foods, better known as Little Debbie, as a District Sales manager and actually met the real Little Debbie. Kevin was a jack of all trades with home repairs. He could figure out how to fix just about anything. Kevin loved Sundays in the fall watching his beloved Patriots.
Kevin is survived by his wife Elizabeth A. (Shields) Harrington, his beloved sons Jake, Owen and Cole of East Bridgewater, his mother Marjorie Harrington of Brockton and brother Bill Harrington and his partner Andrea of Lynnfield. He was the brother-in-law of Bill Shields and his wife Maureen of Bradford, John Michael Shields and his wife Maureen of Milton, Kevin Morse of Norton, Julie Shields of Rockland and many nieces and nephews.
Kevin was predeceased by his father Robert J. Harrington, his sister Kathleen Kelliher and his brother Brian Harrington. He was the brother-in-law of the late Mark Shields, Jim Shields and Maryellen Shields.
Visitation will be held in St. John’s Church, 210 Central Street, East Bridgewater on Thursday, April 25 from 10-11am, followed by a Funeral Mass at 11am.
