Thomas Walter Fiore in Dedham, formerly of Roslindale, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2024. Beloved son of the late Walter Salvatore and Mary T (Pino) Fiore. Loving fiancé of Linda M. Gillespie-Callihan of Needham. Devoted father of Jeff Fiore of Brockton and Matthew Medeiros and his wife Cheryl of Hawaii. Dear brother of Richard Fiore of Boston. Loving grandfather of Julius, Tylaia, and Tyson Medeiros.
Thomas was a devout Catholic and a good and loyal son, father, grandfather, brother, cousin and friend. A true family man, he was always there when you needed help or encouragement. He loved life and the people in it.
He was looking forward to retirement and all its possibilities, when he had a stroke in 2019 and shortly after he was diagnosed with Alzheimer’s Disease in 2020 which led to his passing. Console yourselves with good memories and happy times with Grampy Tom. He loved you all.
A Funeral Mass will be held on Friday, April 26th in Holy Name Church, 1689 Centre St., West Roxbury at 10:00am. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend. Interment Fairview Cemetery, Hyde Park. In lieu of flowers, donations on memory of Thomas may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association at www.alz.org.
