Alicia L. (Lane) Boyers, a 9-year resident of Charlestown and formerly of Columbia, South Carolina and Dothan, Alabama entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 16, 2024, surrounded by her loving daughters following a courageous battle with cancer at her home in Charlestown. She was 69 years of age.
Alicia was born in Dothan, Alabama on October 2, 1954, a daughter of the late Paul D. Lane and Della J. (York) Lane. She grew up in Dothan, Alabama where she was educated and graduated from Dothan High School in 1972. Alicia also attended Atlantic School of Airlines & Travel Training in Kansas City, Missouri. Alicia worked as a Travel Agent for many years. She enjoyed traveling, going to the movies, watching the Boston Celtics and visiting the beaches in the Boston area. Family was paramount to Alicia, and she enjoyed so much the quality moments she was able to share with her 2 daughters and their families.
Alicia is the devoted mother of Lana Tager and her husband Karson Tager and Lane Martin and her husband Jacob Martin. She is the loving Mimi to Barrett Tager. She is the beloved sister of Paul Douglas Lane and Lucinda Kunkle. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Alicia's visiting hours on Sunday afternoon, April 21, 2024, from 2 P.M. to 4 P.M. with her Funeral Service at 3:30 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her burial will be private.
