Virginia L. Goff Millsap, 67, of Cairo passed away Saturday, September 27, 2003, at Grady General Hospital in Cairo. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2003, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Ray Turner officiating. Mrs. Millsap was laid to rest at Liberty Baptist Church Cemetery in Tifton.
Mrs. Millsap's nephews served as pallbearers.
Born July 15, 1936, in Tift County, Mrs. Millsap was the daughter of the late John Goff and Lula Arnold Goff. She was a retired nurse; and she was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Tifton.
Mrs. Millsap is survived by her husband, Hal Millsap of Cairo; one son, Benjamin H. Crum of Enigma; four daughters, Elizabeth Ann Francis of Orlando, Florida, Carol S. Crum of Cairo, Sylvia Ann Southers of Jacksonville, Florida and Carmon southern of Dalton; two brothers, John P. Goff and Foster Goff, both of Tifton; one sister, Mavis Turner of Tifton; several grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
