Wade Burnum Manaugh, 54, of Tifton passed away Monday, February 10, 2003, at his residence. A graveside funeral service was held for Mr. Manaugh at 4:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2003, at Tift Memorial Gardens, where he was laid to rest. The Rev. Wayne Driskell officiated.
Born May 4, 1948, in Dade County, Florida, Mr. Manaugh was the son of Margaret Gibbs Manaugh of Tifton and the late Ernest Lee Burnum. He was self-employed and was the owner of Hooker Wholesale and Southern Cage Company in Tifton; and he was of the Baptist faith. He was a United States Army veteran and served during the Vietnam War.
In addition to his mother, Mr. Manaugh is survived by his wife, Shirley Weldon Manaugh of Tifton; two sons, Chris Manaugh and Steven Manaugh, both of Tifton; one brother, John Manaugh of Indiana; one sister, Mimi Deburger of Ocala, Florida; and three grandchildren, Devon Manaugh, Brock Alsobrook and Ashley Alsobrook.
