Addie Lee Fletcher Meders, 87, of Tifton passed away Friday. August 29, 2003, at Beverly Health Care in Tifton. A graveside funeral service was held for Mrs. Meders at 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 1, 2003, at Omega Cemetery, where she was laid to rest. The Rev. Tony Crawley officiated.
Mrs. Meders' grandsons served as pallbearers.
Born October 7, 1915, in Tift County, Mrs. Meders was the daughter of the late Charlie Clifton Fletcher and Lieu Keigans Fletcher. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Henry Clements Meders. She was a homemaker; and she was of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Meders is survived by three sons, Hank Meders of Omega, James Meders of North Carolin and Walter Meders of Colorado; six daughters, Wardine McMillan, Barbara Smith and Lavern Brooks, all of Tifton, Helen Meders of Jacksonville, Florida, Carol Meders of Omega and Marilyn Meders of South Carolina; sixteen grandchildren; and twenty-one great-grandchildren.
