Joseph Robert "Bobby" Jordan, 52, of Tifton passed away Sunday, April 13, 2003, at his residence. His funeral service was held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2003, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Larry Cone officiating. Mr. Jordan was laid to rest at 5:00 p.m. Wednesday, Apruil 16, 2003, at Camp Creek Cemetery in Clinch County.
Mr. Jordan's nephews and cousins served as pallbearers.
Born June 16, 1950, in Tift County, Mr. Jordan was the son of the late Joseph Henry Jordan and Eva Belle Garris Jordan. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Roseann Harnage Jordan, who passed away in 2002. He was a member of Tifton's First Assembly of God.
Mr. Jordan is survived by one son, Bo Jordan of Tifton; one daughter and son-in-law, Kristie and Brad Hurst of Tifton; one brother and sister-in-law, Benny and Darlene Jordan of Tifton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Sharon and Greg Walker of Tifton and Patricia and Al Quick of Fort Walton Beach, Florida; and two granddaughters, Allison Hurst and Brianna Hurst, both of Tifton.
