Alice Sells Johnson, 92, of Tifton passed away Sunday, October 19, 2003, at Tift Regional Medical Center. A graveside funeral service was held for Mrs. Johnson at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, October 22, 2003, at Oakwood Cemetery in Statesville, North Carolina, where she was laid to rest.
Born January 5, 1911, in Iredell County, North Carolina, Mrs. Johnson was the daughter of the late Marshall Sells and Minnie Culp Sells. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Everett Johnson, who passed away in 1986. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Johnson is survived by one son and daughter-in-law, John M. and Glenda Johnson of Tifton; two grandsons and their wives, Jeff and Heather Johnson and Jay Johnson, all of Atlanta; and two great-grandsons, Jake and Jeremy Johnson.
