GORHAM- Suzanne “Sue” Iatesta, age 79, passed away peacefully at home with her daughters and grandson by her side on March 13, 2024, following a brief battle with cancer.
She was born in Saco, Maine on June 14, 1944, the daughter of the late Frank and Barbara (Webster) Davis. She graduated from Edward Little High School. She was employed by Data General for years and then Downeast Energy until her retirement. She enjoyed her girl’s trips to Rangeley and Jackman, her crosswords and jumbles, lunching with friends, and cuddling with her cat Annie.
She is predeceased by her brother Peter Davis, and her grandson Justin Stanhope whom she shared a very special bond with.
She is survived by her daughter Tracey Porter of Sebago, and Tina Iatesta of Hollis - her three grandchildren – Shane Porter, Luke Porter, and Alex Menezes, four nieces and a nephew.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday April 20th from 3 – 5 PM at the Chad E. Poitras Cremation and Funeral Service Chapel, 498 Long Plains Road, Buxton.
