Clayton P. Lucas, 73, of Lakeville passed away on Saturday, April 13, 2024 following a brief illness at St. Anne's Hospital with his loved ones by his side. He was the loving, devoted husband of Doris (Marmen) Lucas.
Mr. Lucas was born in New Bedford, son of the late August G. and Ernestine (Silva) Lucas and had resided in Lakeville since 1986. Prior to retirement, he worked as a materials manager for Waters Corp., Taunton for over 30 years. He enjoyed the beach, relaxing on his boat, and spending time with family.
Survivors along with his wife include his 4 children: Bradford Sullivan and his wife Peggy of CT, Christopher Sullivan and his wife Zehra of CA, Jeffrey, Cheryl, and Zephanie Dube of MA, Sarah Dube and her husband Nicholas of New Bedford; 2 brothers: Kenneth Lucas of Lakeville and Jeffrey Lucas of Fairhaven; sister: Joyce Braga of Dartmouth; 8 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial service to which relatives and friends are invited will be Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at the Potter Funeral Home at 11:00 A.M.
Visitation will be Tuesday, from 10-11 A.M., prior to the service.
Interment will be private.
