WEBSTER – Cindy A. (Streich) Wetherell, 61, died Friday, April 12, 2024 in Hubbard Regional Hospital.
She leaves a son, Christopher R. Wetherell of Webster; a brother, Robert G. Streich, Jr. and his wife Betty Jane of Connecticut; 3 aunts, Theresa Lada of Webster, Marion Antkowiak, and Pauline Aucoin and her husband Robert, all of Dudley; and several cousins.
She was born on December 27, 1962 in Webster, the first child of Robert G. Streich, Sr. and Nancy (Falso) Streich and graduated from Bartlett High School in 1980. She lived in Webster all her life.
Cindy enjoyed playing softball during her youth. An artist, she created drawings and paintings. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles. At Lanessa, she held a leadership role as the “president” of the residents. She was loved by many.
A memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, April 25, in Saint Louis Church, 14 Lake Street. Entombment will be in the columbarium at Saint Joseph Garden of Peace. Donations in her name may be made to the Lanessa Patient Activities Fund, 751 School Street, Webster, MA 01570. Arrangements are under the direction of Scanlon Funeral Service, 38 East Main Street, Webster.
