Olga M. (Trabucco) O’Brien, age 98, a longtime resident of Winchester, formerly of Everett, passed away on April 11, 2024, lovingly surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife for 72 years of George F. O’Brien.
Born in Everett, Olga was the daughter of the late Chester and Caterina (Porcellini) Trabucco. She was raised and educated in Everett and was a graduate of Everett High School. Like most young women during that time, Olga enrolled in secretarial school. She was employed as an executive secretary with Kennecott Copper Labs for many years.
In her spare time, Olga enjoyed traveling with her husband George, gardening, cooking, the performing arts, and, above all else, spending time with her family.
In addition to her husband, George, Olga is lovingly survived by many nieces and nephews, great-nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her siblings Domenic Trabucco, Mary (Trabucco) Saia and Ugo Trabucco.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Mary’s Church, 155 Washington St., Winchester on Wednesday, April 17 at 11AM. A Visitation will be held prior to Mass at 9:30AM at Costello Funeral Home, 177 Washington St., Winchester. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Winchester.
