Scott, Loraine Marie (78) of Canton, Massachusetts passed away peacefully on March 18, 2024. Born in Milton, MA, she was the daughter of Joseph N. Scott and Rosamond M. Dwyer. Loraine was an alumni of Ursuline Academy in Dedham, MA, Class of 1963. She dedicated years of her life as a homemaker for her family in Easton, MA. Later, she went on to be an administrative assistant in various industries until she retired. Loraine had a strong faith in God and was passionate about her beliefs.
Loraine is survived by her two sons, Robert (Stacia) Bonanno of Gansevoort, NY, and James (Fannesah) Bonanno of Southlake, TX, her brothers, Richard Scott of Attleboro, MA, and Ronald (Linda) Scott of New Gloucester, ME. She is also survived by several cousins, nieces, nephews, eight grandchildren and one great grandchild.
A memorial service for family and friends will take place at the George F. Doherty & Sons Funeral Home, 456 High Street, Dedham, MA on Saturday, May 25th at 10AM.
Loraine has requested that in lieu of flowers, donations be sent to St. Jude Childrens Hospital, stjude.org.
