Mary Ann (Mulkerrins) Finley, 88, of Franklin died April 10 in Milford Regional Medical Center. She was the wife of the late James M. Finley who died in January.
Born in Galway, Ireland, February 21, 1936, the daughter of the late James and Mary (Sullivan) Mulkerrins, Mary was raised in Ireland and lived in England for a few years before coming to America and had lived in Franklin since 1978.
Mary had been a home health aide for many years.
While living in England she had been a ticket agent for a bus company.
Mary enjoyed traveling, and cooking.
She is survived by her siblings, Martin Mulkerrins of England, Anne Abbott and Bridie Flaherty also of England, Barbara Griffin, Coleman Mulkerrins, Stephen Mulkerrins, James Mulkerrins and Nora Mulkerrins all of Ireland.
Mary is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
She is also survived by her dear and devoted friend Josephine Messier of Medway.
Her funeral mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, April 17 in St. Mary’s Church, Franklin at 11:00 a.m. Burial will be in the Massachusetts National Cemetery, in Bourne. Livestream Mass: stmarysfranklin.org
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 9:00 - 10:30 in the Ginley Funeral Home of Franklin (www.ginleyfuneralhomes.com) 131 Main Street, Franklin.
