Obituary

BUXTON- Frederick Minor Brown, Sr. (Brownie), age 85, passed away on Monday April 8th, 2024, fighting a battle with honorable strength.

Frederick was born in Portland Maine on January 21st, 1939, a son of the late Tom Brown and Ruth Sparks.

For over 20 years, Fred was dedicated to his truck driving job for major companies. He spent over 25 years as a custodian for the Westbrook school department. A job he loved dearly. There was always laughter and joy wherever Fred went. His blunt and playful personality always lit up the room. He loved strongly and was never afraid to speak his mind!

He was a loving father and grandfather “Papa”. His son (Frederick M. Brown Jr) and daughter (Caroline E. Brown). He was blessed with two beautiful grandchildren (Stephanie R. Michaud) and (Caitlin E. Michaud).

His hobbies included water skiing and hunting. He took pride in supporting his son in the Eagle Scouts. His grandchildren were the apples of his eyes. He loved taking them to movies, shopping, and restaurants. He helped raise them and supported their dreams.
