Clement T. “Clem” Brunelli 81, of Franklin, passed away peacefully, with loved one’s at his side, Saturday April 6, 2024 at Alliance of Maples Rehabilitation and Nursing Center in Wrentham, following a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Donna A. (Depoto) Brunelli, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage.
Born September 15, 1942 in Milford, a son of the late Clement E. and Annie Mae (Tower) Brunelli, he was a lifelong resident of Franklin.
He was raised and educated in Franklin and was a graduate of Franklin High School Class of 1963. Clem worked for the Town of Franklin Housing Authority until retiring. He was also a former commercial fisherman out of Chatham and also a concrete finisher for Marguerite and Lewis Concrete Companies.
Clem enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, fishing, hunting, shellfishing, gardening and especially tending to his tomato plants. He also was a fan of the New England sports teams.
In addition to his wife Donna, he is survived by his daughters, Catherine A. Gleason and her husband Jay of Franklin, Susan A. MacIntosh and her husband John of Milford a sister, Jane E. Gillonardo of Franklin a sister-in-law Ginny Brunelli of Sandwich, and brother-in-law and sister-in-law Richard “Dickie” Depoto and his wife Sandra.
Clem was the brother of the late Jeffrey A. Brunelli and brother in law of the late Greg “Butchie” Gillonardo, Edward & Anthony Depoto and his wife Dottie.
Also surviving are his cherished grandchildren, Jacob R. Gleason and his fiancé Chloe Galluccio, Jenna M. Gleason and her fiancé Hunter Manning, Nicholas J. MacIntosh, Olivia C. MacIntosh, several nieces, nephews, and his constant companion “Pumpkin”.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service Tuesday April 16th in St. Mary’s Church, 1 Church Square Franklin at 11AM.
A reception will follow at the Rome Restaurant, Franklin.
A private burial will be held at a later date.
