Maria H. (Esteves) Cabrita, of Woburn, formerly of Somerville, passed away on Sunday, April 7th. She was 78. Born and raised in Lisbon, Portugal, she was the cherished daughter of the late Solon and Raquel (Soares) Esteves.
Maria was the beloved wife of 57 years to Jose A. Cabrita. She was the devoted mother of Jorge DaSilva and his wife Carla, and Patricia Giangrande and her husband Frank, and the loving Avo of Sofia, Christian, Daniel, Ali and David.
Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with Maria’s family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Saturday, April 13th from 8:30 AM to 10 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in, St. Catherine of Genoa Church, 179 Summer Street, Somerville, at 10:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
