Gary W. Wright, age 71, of Hudson, NH, formerly of Billerica, MA, passed away on April 4, 2024. He was the beloved husband for 45 years of Cecile (Jean) Wright.
Born in Lowell, MA, Gary was the son of the late Josiah A. and Dorothy (Trower) Wright. He was raised and educated in Billerica and was a graduate of Billerica High School with the class of 1971.
In his spare time, he and Cecile enjoyed traveling with family and friends to their favorite destinations. Over the years they took an annual trip to Aruba, and also vacationed in Japan, Las Vegas, Hawaii, the Carolinas and Florida.
In the summer they enjoyed spending time on Lake Winnipesaukee boating with the nieces, nephews and friends. He was known as the “fun uncle” who never hesitated to play with them in the arcades and had many family travel adventures.
In addition to his wife, Cecile, Gary is lovingly survived by his son Craig Wright and his wife Sarah of Raleigh, NC, and daughter Jessica (Wright) Beauregard and her husband Mark of Litchfield, NH. He was also the loving grandfather, “Bubba”, to Carson, Ford and Vivian Wright, Ryan and Alex Beauregard and the late Miles Beauregard. He was predeceased by his siblings Chester, Gregory and Gail Darlene Wright.
A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, April 12 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Mary Cemetery, 90 River Road, Tewksbury. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend.
