Obituary

Windham – Malcolm Dana “Bud” Gammon, 87 passed away on April 7th, 2024.

He was born on June 1st, 1936.

Born and raised in Limington, Maine, he served in the United States Army and was an Army Veteran.

Malcolm had a career as an auto mechanic running gas stations in Portland, South Portland and Westbrook. He opened his own garage, Gammon’s Auto Barn in Gorham serving his may customers at all times during the day and night.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles Everett and Mildred (Gilpatrick) Gammon, and his sisters Althea (Pat) Axelsen, Alberta Brill and Brothers Lester, Raymond, Charles (Junior), Clinton, Gordon (Mickey) Gammon. Son Richard Malcolm Gammon and Daughter Kimberly Beth Gammon.

He enjoyed going “upta camp” in Rangeley and riding his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Husband to Annette (Aldrich) Gammon for 55 Years.

Malcolm is survived by his sons Craig Gammon, Sarasota, Florida and Timothy Gammon, Windham, Maine and stepfather to Arthur Nye, Buxton and Leo Nye Buxton, his daughter in Laws - Jane Gammon (Richard), Tricia Gammon (Craig), Maryanne Nye (Arthur) and Cindy Nye (Leo), Sister-in-laws Dorothy Gammon (Gordon) and Lucille Gammon (Clinton) along with several nieces, nephews, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
