Nivaldo De Freitas Nogueira, 49, of Lowell, a beloved husband, father, and cherished member of the community passed away at Boston Medical Center, concluding a valiant struggle against cancer. He leaves behind a legacy of love, resilience, and unforgettable memories.
Born on January 28, 1975, in Caratinga, Minas Gerais, Brazil, Nivaldo was the cherished son of Solon Pedro Nogueira and Edir De Freitas Nogueira. He spent his formative years in Brazil, where he received his education and laid the foundation for a life characterized by warmth and kindness.
Nivaldo's journey led him to Lowell, where he resided as an esteemed member of the community. A devout member of Holy Family Parish, he found solace and strength in his faith. Nivaldo's passion for soccer was unparalleled; he found immense joy in both playing and cheering for his beloved team, Atlérico Mineiro. However, his greatest source of happiness was found in the embrace of his cherished family.
In addition to his devoted wife, Waleska Freitas Pinheiro Nogueira, Nivaldo leaves behind a profound void in the hearts of his three adoring daughters, Rayssa, Rayane, and Rayelle. He is also survived by his loving siblings, Patricia, Lucileia, and Ailton, who will continue to carry forth his memory with love and reverence.
Funeral service will be Wednesday, April 10, 2024 from 3 to 6 pm at McDonough Funeral Home, 14 Highland Street, Lowell, MA. After the wake time, procession to the Parish of the Holy Family, 30 Grafton Street, Lowell MA 01852, where the Mass of the Present Body will take place at 7 pm. The burial will take place in his home country, Brazil.
