Consolata Celiberti, age 74, of Winchester, passed away peacefully, Wednesday, April 3, 2024, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following a period of declining health. She was the beloved wife of Salvatore Celiberti. Born in Montefalcione, Italy, she was the daughter of the late Umberto and Immacolata (Zirpolo) Iantosca.
"Connie" as she was affectionately known to her family and friends, was a devoted and loving wife, mother and nonna. She will be fondly remembered by her family and friends for her unconditional love. Connie cherished time spent her family, endlessly comforting them with her love, support, and delicious foods. Her grandchildren, whom she adored, couldn't wait to visit their Nonna, and were blessed to receive her homemade pasta, frittata, and best of all, "Nonna's Soup." Connie was devoted to providing a warm and welcoming home for her family. Connie also enjoyed caring for and tending to her extravagant garden filled with fruits, herbs, and vegetables. Her love, hard work, strength, and beautiful smile will never be forgotten.
In addition to her beloved husband, Connie is survived by her sons, Nick Celiberti and his wife Jeannie, and Rob Celiberti and his wife Katie. She was the loving and adoring nonna of Isabella, Olivia, Jill, Joey, and Eva. Cherished sister of Dora Giardini, Consiglia Puleo, Nina Russo, Angelo, Anthony and Pasquale Iantosca, and the late Maria Romano.
In keeping with Connie's wishes funeral services will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Connie's name to SurvivingBreastCancer.org
