Joseph Giguere, 61 of Manchester, NH died Thursday April 4, 2024 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Joe was born in Hartford, CT on November 17, 1962, a son of Lorenzo “Al” and Phyllis (Doran) Giguere. He was a longtime resident of Manchester. Joe started out working for the family roofing and siding business. Joe had been employed as a master plumber and gas fitter for Accurate Air.
Joe and his wife Barbara (Greenwood) were foster parents for 12 years and fostered many children. Joe loved entertaining at home and was always inviting neighbor kids for pool time and pizza. Joe enjoyed many family activities such as camping, boating, and hiking. Joe had a deep love of music and spent many evenings with Barbara at the Tupelo and BNH Pavilion. Joe was an avid gardener and was always puttering around the yard. Joe was a very accomplished jack of all trades and completed many projects around the home.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife of 14 years, Barbara of Manchester, two sons, Michael of Michigan, and Noah of Manchester, three daughters, Haley, Sona and Lana of Manchester, three brothers, David, Steven , and Jim, and one sister Shelly Peabody as well several nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his sister Kathy.
Calling hours will be held on Monday April 8, 2024 from 5 – 7 pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 290 Mammoth Rd., Londonderry. Catholic prayers will be offered at 6:45pm in the funeral home. Following cremation, private inurnment will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Manchester.
