Obituary

Larry Anthony Davis Malik-El was born on July 13,1954 in the Moorish State of Boston Massachusetts. He was born Larry Anthony Davis, but in his later years declared his Birthright of Nationality as a “Moor”! Aboriginal and indigenous to the land. His proper free national name is Larry Anthony Davis Malik-El. All Sovereign rights were reserved.

As a child, he knew that moms were the boss and lawmakers. As a child, he had his own way of doing things that would often result in him being reprimanded by his mom, Serena. At some point, he figured out that his mom had a boss too. His late grandmother. She would come to his defense most times, and he loved it. He would say he knew Serena was the boss of him, but his grandma was the boss of her. He was always told that he was too smart for his own good. He took college courses for over fifteen years. He served as a personal counsel and won every case. That resulted in 21 cases being beaten overtime. He wore many hats. He was a master at law and ancestry. Larry really enjoyed learning. Larry spent time reflecting on law and history and defending the rights of individuals, family members, and friends. He spent time studying, reading, writing, and preparing documents that will become part of a legacy, as a way to build up. He was a mastermind. Who left footprints in the sand for us to cherish forever.

First and foremost, he loved Allah, the Great God, and our circle 7 Moorish American National Government seals, flags, emblems, and the movement. He loved music, he was a DJ in his younger years. He loved good vibes, good conversation, reading, writing, law, and Ancestry. Referred to by him as the ‘ Story of our ancestors’. He loved basketball, and chess. Larry was very smart, loving, kind, articulate, witty, smooth, and stubborn at times. Larry was very faithful. He was good to everyone he loved. A great friend, great brother, but an amazing uncle. Larry was very protective of his family. He took pride in defending his tribe and friends.

He enjoyed his brother Tyrone’s company! He would often say, “He cracks me up!” After talking to his brother Chris, he would say, “He always sounded older than me...Like he was my older brother.” He looked forward to taking the time to visit his brother Leon in Philadelphia. Unfortunately, he never made it. They would often talk and laugh. Larry loved his baby brother, Shawn and was proud of him as a brother. He always referred to him as very smart and wise. He also had a special bond and respect with his brother-in-law, Kenneth. They both loved music (He was actually a DJ in his younger years) and basketball and to tap their feet according to his favorite Aunt Mattie. Aunt Mattie spoiled Larry up until she was called home. She was his second mom.

Larry loved good food. Especially his sisters Anita and Marolin’s. He also loved his niece Valasia’s cooking. Their cooking was very comforting and always something to look forward to. He especially loved mac and cheese and Fish and had a sweet tooth for sweet potato pie and funny bones. He had a brotherhood of friends that he bonded with for over 27 years. They continued to keep in touch over all of that time. A few years ago, they had taken a trip to New Hampshire, where they had the chance to be together and catch up, eat, laugh, joke, and reminisce.

Larry has completed theology of the world, through the ancient kemetic four sacred schools of thought. He transitioned to the Ether Plane honoring all true divine prophets from Adam, Yehoshua (Jesus), Mohammed, Buddah, and Confucius through Noble Drew Ali. It’s said the Moorish American National Government consulate representative has been blessed with infinite jurisdiction. To help aid and assist and to teach upon the hedges and highways: from the halls of learning to the dismal crypts in honor of uplifting fallen humanity. Honoring the high principles of our foremothers and our forefathers, love, truth, peace, freedom, and justice.

Larry was preceded in death by his stepfather Leon Goodwin Sr , mother Serena (Goodwin) Davis and sister Valerie Goodwin et al. He leaves to cherish his legacy- His sister Marolin and his brother in-law Kenneth, his sister Anita, his brother Leon Jr and sister in-law Tanya, his brothers Christopher, Rico-Tyrone, Shawn, and his sister in-law Wanda. He leaves behind his nephew, his mentee, confidant, colleague, and right hand, Daimon Anthony Goodwin-Bey. Who shares Larry’s middle name, ”Anthony”. His partner Denise and her two puppies. His special friend Vivian. As well as a tribe of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, a host of cousins, extended family, and friends.

What our Forefathers and forefathers were, we ARE, without contradiction. As he transitioned to the Ether plane on March 7, 2024 at 5:30 AM, the symbolization of the 7th day of (March) and within the 5th hour. I hope that as a tribe, we are able to find peace and unity honoring five principles; Love,Truth, Peace, Freedom and Justice. A perfect sign of peace from God.
