Jacqueline D. Lavoie, 74, of Derry, NH, passed away Wednesday April 3, 2024, in the Morrison Nursing Home, Whitefield, NH. She was born on January 5, 1950 in Degelis, Canada, a daughter of the late Gilbert and Orise (Theriault) Lavoie. She started working for Western Electric, which became AT & T then later Lucent, where she retired after 27 years. Jacqueline enjoyed reading, skiing, and working in the garden.
She is survived by her daughter, Josee Anderson and her husband David, two granddaughters, Jasmine Dickman and her husband Christopher and Joleen Carroll; step-grandson, Neal Anderson and his wife Brittany; step great grandson, Logan, one sister, Denise Chouinard as well as many nieces, nephews and extended family. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Jean Paul Lavoie in July 2023, two brothers Raymond and Donald Lavoie and one sister, Annette Griffin.
Following cremation, calling hours will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, from 6 – 8pm in the Peabody Funeral Homes and Crematorium, 15 Birch Street, Derry. A funeral service will be held at 10am on Wednesday April 10th in the funeral home followed by burial in Forest Hill Cemetery, East Derry Road, East Derry, NH.
