Edward F. Granfield, of Medford, March 30th. Beloved son of the late Alexander and Mary (Torpey) Granfield. Brother of the late Mary, Patrick, John, Joseph, Alexander Jr., William and Thomas Granfield. He is survived by several nieces and nephews. Edward has been a lifelong resident of Medford. He served his country honorably during World War II as a soldier in the United States Army. Edward was a popular schoolteacher at Arlington High School, serving the students of Arlington for many years. He was a lifelong faithful parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Parish in Medford. Relatives & friends are invited to attend his Funeral Mass, celebrated at St. Francis of Assisi Church, 441 Fellsway West, Medford on Monday April 8th at 10 AM. Services will conclude with interment in Oak Grove Cemetery in Medford. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to St. Francis of Assisi Parish, 441 Fellsway West., Medford, MA 02155.
