Gerald F. "Jezzo" McIntosh Jr., a lifelong Charlestown resident, entered into eternal life suddenly on Friday, March 29, 2024. He was 59 years of age.
Jezzo was born in Boston on July 2, 1964, a son of the late Gerald F. McIntosh and Ellen L. (O'Brien) McIntosh. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Don Bosco Technical High School in 1982. While growing up in Charlestown, Jezzo was very involved with the Charlestown youth hockey program. Jezzo worked as a Massport Police Officer for over 25 years and also worked for the City of Boston DPW. He enjoyed hunting and fishing, and was an avid Boston Sports fan. He was a member of the Bunker Hill Council #62 Knights of Colombus.
Jezzo is the beloved son of the late Gerald F. "Jerry" McIntosh and Ellen L. (O'Brien) McIntosh. He is the devoted brother of Annemarie Chaisson, William McIntosh III and his wife Susan, Susan McIntosh, Ellen Fullam and her husband retired Boston Police Officer Daniel and the late Robert McIntosh. He was the longtime companion of the late Debbie Galvin. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
