Georgina P. (Mckenna) MacNeil, age 87, of Florida, formerly of Waltham and Winchester, passed away on March 29, 2024.
Born on Prince Edward Island, Canada, Georgina was the daughter of the late Peter and Georgina (Griffen) McKenna. She was raised and educated in Canada and came to the United States at age 19.
Georgina worked for many years as a hairdresser in Waltham and at various nursing homes in the area. A devoted Catholic, Georgina served as a Eucharistic minister and faithfully attended daily and Sunday Mass. In her spare time, she also enjoyed playing golf.
Georgina is lovingly survived by her 5 children: Roderick MacNeil and his wife Jane of Waltham, Lori Baumgartner and her husband Peter of York, ME, Kelley Dennis and her fiancé Ron Hobby of Winchester, Sharon Seabury and her husband Robert of Wakefield and Francis MacNeil Jr. of Wakefield. She was predeceased by 10 siblings and is also lovingly survived by 10 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
