Obituary

Salvatore James “Sully” Yerardi, 90, of Medford, passed away on Friday, March 29th after a brief battle with cancer. Born and raised in West Newton, he was the son of the late John and Rose (Bruzzese) Yerardi. Sully proudly served in the US Army during the Korean War, and upon discharge worked at Relief Printing Corps in Boston side-by-side for nearly 45 years with his late wife Margaret (Marshall) Yerardi. Sully was a very devoted husband, father, brother, grandfather and great grandfather who loved his family, in which he totally invested his life.

Sully was the devoted father of three children: Janet M. Forti and her husband John J. Forti of Atkinson, NH, James M. Yerardi of Salem, NH, and John M. Yerardi and his wife Linda A. Yerardi of Rochester, NH. He is survived by nine loving grandchildren: Michael Forti, Stephen Forti, David Forti, Lisa (Forti) Cadotte, Lori (Forti) Dias, Katelyn Yerardi, Jennifer Yerardi, Nicholas Yerardi, and Isaac Yerardi, and 12 great grandchildren: Allison, Mia, Kelsie, Keiran Forti, Penny and Jack Crovetti, Claire and Thomas Forti, Margaret and Daniel Cadotte, and Lucas and Emily Dias. Sully is also survived by his dear sister Marie Lewis of West Newton, and was predeceased by his sister Elizabeth Walsh.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to visit with family in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Wednesday, April 3rd from 9 AM to 10:30 AM, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in St. Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 11 AM. Services will conclude with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery, Medford.
