Diane M. (Zirpolo) Loud, 78, of Medford passed away peacefully on Monday, March 25th, at Encompass Health Rehab Hospital in Woburn. As a lifelong Medford resident, she was the daughter of the late Godfrey "Jeff" and Doris (Trudelle) Zirpolo. Diane graduated with the Class of 1963 from St. Clement High School and worked for many years as an office manager at JJ Donovan & Sons. She and her husband enjoyed dining out and visiting casinos, and especially spending time with family.
Diane was the beloved wife of the late David A. Loud, and the devoted mother of Mark Loud of Medford and his loving companion Karen Jackson, and David Loud, Jr., and his wife Julie of Estero, Florida. She was the loving grandmother of Mark Jr., Arianah, Olivia and Sophia Loud, and the dear sister of Anne Campbell and her husband Michael of Medford, William Zirpolo of Marshfield and his late wife Virginia, and the sister-in-law to Linda Loud of Medford and her late husband Richard. Diane was the cherished aunt and Godmother of Kristin (Campbell) Nelson and her husband Paul, the loving godmother of Laura Stout, and is also survived by her nieces and nephews David, Laura and her husband Therin, Linda and her husband Lenny, and Tricia.
Visiting hours will be held in the Dello Russo Funeral Home, 306 Main St., Medford on Thursday, April 4th from 4 through 7 PM, and again on Friday, April 5th at 8:30 AM followed by a Mass of Christian Burial celebrated in Saint Raphael Church, 512 High St., Medford, at 9:30 AM. Services will conclude with burial at Mt. Auburn Cemetery, Cambridge.
