Carol J. (Jarosz) Taliceo, age 86, passed away on March 19, 2024 at Vantage at Hampden Nursing Home. She was born on February 14, 1938 in Springfield, daughter of the late William and Alice (Nichols) Jarosz. She worked as an administrative assistant at the Wall St Journal in Chicopee for many years before she retired. She was a communicant of the former St George Parish and loved to knit, sew and crochet. She is predeceased by her first husband Emile J. Fontaine, her second husband John S. Taliceo Sr, her brother Robert Jarosz and her sister Nancy Jarosz. She is survived by two sons Robert Fontaine of Chicopee and Joseph Fontaine and his wife Nikki of Wilbraham; one daughter Patricia Fontaine of Brattleboro, VT; two brothers Thomas Jarosz and his wife Desiree of Springfield and William “Billy” Jarosz of Wilbraham; three sisters Susan Fuller of Ludlow, Betty Haluch of Ludlow and June Talbot of Springfield; four grandchildren and four great grandchildren as well as her many cherished and loved grand dogs and cats.
