Clara Nell Goff Eason, 71, of Tifton passed away Sunday, April 27, 2003, at her residence. Her funeral service was held at 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, April 29, 2003, at the First Freewill Baptist Church in Tifton with the Rev. Charles Nichols and the Rev. Robert Freeman officiating. Mrs. Eason was laid to rest at Lakeview Baptist Church Cemetery in Cook county.
Mrs. Eason's nephews served as pallbearers.
Born November 29, 1931, in Irwin County, Mrs. Eason was the daughter of the late Mac T. Goff and Alberts Clements Goff. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Herman Charlie Eason, who passed away in 1992; and one sister. She was a homemaker; and she was a member of Tifton's First Freewill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Eason is survived by two sons, Darrell Eason of Tifton and Daniel Eason of Douglas; one daughter, Dianne Hadsock of Douglas; ten grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
