Janet (Stiles) Tamburrini of Stoneham passed away on Thursday, July 13, 2006 at The Kindred – Northeast Hospital in Waltham.
Janet was the loving daughter of the late Russell and Mae Stiles. She was a warm and caring daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend. She will be missed by all.
Janet was a lifelong resident of Stoneham graduating from Stoneham High School in 1953. She and her family were proprietors of Stiles Popcorn and Candy Store in Stoneham Square. Janet’s true passion was for her family. They were first and foremost in her life. Her love for them went unparalleled. She was a collector of Wolf portraits and Indian artifacts.
Janet was the beloved wife of John Tamburrini. She was the devoted mother of John Tamburrini and his wife Donna, James Tamburrini and his wife Doreen , Joan Tamburrini and Robert Shannon all of Stoneham and Jill Imlach and her husband Stephen of Billerica, cherished grandmother of Michael, Brian and Shaun Wells, John, James and Joseph Tamburrini and Nicholas Imlach and great grandmother of 3. She was the dear sister of Joan.
Funeral from the Barile Family Funeral Home 482 Main St. (RT 28) STONEHAM Monday at 9am followed by a Funeral Mass celebrating Janet’s life in St. Patrick’s Church, 71 Central St. STONEHAM at 10am. Family and friends are kindly invited to attend Visiting Hours Sunday 4-8pm. Parking attendants will be on duty. Interment Lindenwood Cemetery, Stoneham.
