Eileen Margaret Mary McNulty, loving mother and grandmother passed away at Morton Hospital from C.O.P.D and C.H.F on March 23, 2024.
Eileen was born on September 4, 1945, in Quincy, Massachusetts to loving parents, Patrick J. McNulty and Katherine E. McNulty. She grew up in Dorchester, Massachusetts, and was a graduate of Cardinal Cushing Central High School.
Eileen was a homemaker and raised her family in East Bridgewater, Massachusetts. After her children had grown up, she became a home health aide and later worked for Verizon.
She was involved in the Holy Ghost Church including Choir and Sodality and frequently did Charity Work at the Pine Street Inn. She was a member of the Red Hat Society and enjoyed her time at the Senior Center in East Bridgewater. Eileen was an avid traveler who loved spending time with her family and friends and was a charitable woman, proud of her Irish Heritage. Eileen spent her last years living with her family until moving to All American Assisted Living in Raynham, Massachusetts.
She is survived by her former husband William S. Gladding, and their children Nancy M. Gladding-Ekstrand and her husband Joseph V. Ekstrand of Raynham, and sons William P. Gladding and Steven M. Gladding of Carver, and grandchildren Kelly E. Gladding and Katie R. Gladding of Raynham.
Family and friends are invited to pay their last respects Tuesday April 2, at 9:30 AM in the Blanchard Funeral Chapel, Plymouth Street (Rte. 58 @ the rotary) Whitman. A funeral Mass will follow at 10:30 AM at the Holy Ghost Church, Whitman. A burial will follow at the St. James Cemetery, Whitman.
