Jean Wilkinson, age 85, of Fall River, passed away on Wednesday, March 6, 2024.
She was born in Fall River, the daughter of the late Mary (Kratzsch) and Samuel Lester Wilkinson.
She majored in retail and was a graduate of Westbrook Junior College and B.M.C. Durfee High School.
Ms. Wilkinson was a successful airline stewardess who worked for Trans World Airlines (TWA) for 35 years traveling internationally until her retirement. She was awarded three commendations, from the Air Force, Navy, and TWA for her work transporting veterans during Desert Storm. She later also worked as a registered real estate agent and most recently was a tax preparer at H&R Block for 15 years. Jean enjoyed having good times with her family and dear friends. She also enjoyed spending holidays and all special occasions with her family.
Jean loved to travel the world with her friends and, also took her mother on a tour around the world. She was a bingo enthusiast and loved lobster. She enjoyed hosting her family and friends in earlier years at her home and had an appreciation for great food. Jean was always in the company of her beloved dog, Lucky.
Surviving are her nephews, Lester Wilkinson and wife Denise of Marion, Scott Wilkinson and wife Gorete of Westport, Derrick Calvano and wife Sonya of Dighton, and Wayne Wilkinson of Royal Palm Beach; nine grand nephews and nieces, Drew, Laurenne, Aaron, Kendra and Michael Wilkinson, Chase, Brady, and Damon Calvano, and Kayla Borges; She was the sister of the late S. Lester Wilkinson and Kenneth Wilkinson, and the aunt of the late Kenneth Borges.
