Re Bui, 76, of Worcester died Saturday, March 23rd in Rose Monahan Hospice Residence. She leaves a son, Dung Nguyen and his wife, Khoa Do of Worcester; a daughter, Cindy Bui of Worcester; three grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Ms. Bui was born in Saigon, Vietnam and immigrated to the United States in 1989. She dedicated 28 years of her life to TJX Distribution, where she worked as a ticketer before retiring in 2017. She was known for her hard work, dedication, and commitment to her job.
A devout member of Linh Son Buddhist Temple, Re found solace and peace in spending time there. Her faith was a guiding light in her life, and she cherished the spiritual community at the temple.
Re had a deep love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren and found immense joy in their presence. She valued family above all else and treasured the moments spent with her loved ones. Re enjoyed hosting large family meals, where she could share laughter, stories, and delicious food with those closest to her.
She will be remembered for her kindness, generosity, and loving nature. Her presence will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
Calling hours are Wednesday, March 27th from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. in O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue. Her funeral service will be Thursday, March 28th beginning at 8:30 a.m. followed by cremation in Rural Crematory, 180 Grove Street, Worcester.
