Obituary

Worcester - Judith A. (Dillaire) Novia Beaucage, 84, of Worcester, passed away peacefully in her home surrounded by her family on Saturday, March 23, 2024.

Judith was born in Worcester, the daughter of the late Alfred Dillaire and Gertrude V. (Cournyn) Roy. She graduated from Saint John’s High School and dedicated many years of her life to caring for others as a personal care assistant for local agencies and in private care.

Judith was predeceased by her first husband, Michael Novia Sr. in 1995, and her brother, Gerald Dillaire. She is survived by her loving husband Norman Beaucage; children; Michael P. Novia Jr. of Worcester, Michael A. Novia of Webster, Jason M. Novia of Paxton, Christopher Rotolo of California, Michelle A. Elliott of Charlton, Marlene A. Miller of Sutton, Marie A. Novia of Worcester, Melanie A. Breault of Millbury, and Gloria J. Rotolo of Leicester. She is also survived by her brother, Al Dillaire of Florida, her sister, Patricia Sears of Florida, 17 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Judith and her first husband, Michael, served as foster parents for many years for the Department of Children and Family Services with the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. They were honored twice as Foster Parents of the Year, a testament to their dedication and care for children in need.

A devoted homemaker, Judith was a caregiver at heart, always looking out for the well-being of her family. Family was paramount to Judy, and she cherished the time spent with her children and grandchildren. In recent years, she found joy in traveling with her husband, Norman, particularly enjoying their trips to Aruba, Florida, and Cape Cod.

Judith's funeral will be held on Wednesday, March 27, from the Alfred Roy & Sons Funeral Home, 12 Hammond St., with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 AM in Our Lady of the Angels Church, 1222 Main St., Worcester. Burial will follow in Notre Dame Cemetery, Worcester. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 26, from 5 to 7 PM in the funeral home. Memorial contributions in memory of Judith may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Road, Waltham, MA 02452.
