William James Richmond, age 66, a lifelong resident of Norton passed away on Wednesday, March 20, 2024 at the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston.
Born in Attleboro, MA on January 8, 1958, he was a loving son of Bettina L. “Bette” (Freeman) Richmond of Norton and the late James M. Richmond, Jr.
Billy grew up in town and was a 1976 graduate of Norton High School, where he enjoyed playing sports. He had been employed at EMS and Texas Instruments, both in Attleboro. Along with his family, Billy shared a love for Antique vehicles and was a familiar face driving a Model T at special events and parades. He also found happiness traveling, camping and riding his Harley Davidson. He will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.
In addition to his mother, he was the devoted father of Michael James Richmond of Holyoke. He was the dear brother of Arnold David Richmond of Bandera, Texas and Cynthia Lee Richmond-Falzone and her husband Al Falzone of Norton. He was the much-loved uncle of James P.A. Falzone of Buffalo, New York and Scott Richmond Falzone of Norton. He is also survived by his cherished aunts and uncles, as well as many cousins.
Relatives and friends are cordially invited to attend a graveside funeral service on Monday, March 25th at 11:00 A.M. at the Norton Common Cemetery, West Main Street (Route 123) in Norton.
