Marjana Ziso, 70, of Worcester died Wednesday, March 20th at home surrounded by her loving family. She leaves her husband on 45 years, Vasil Ziso; two daughters, Enida Ziso Qejvanaj and her husband, Bledar Qejvanaj and Dalina Boryszewski and her husband, Pawel all of Worcester; her sister, Donika Dhimitri and her husband, Pandeli of Worcester; four grandchildren and a niece, Elda and a nephew, Niko and their families.
Marjana was a beloved soul who graced this world with her presence. She was born in Albania and late embarked on a journey that led her to the United States in 1994. In Albania, she dedicated herself to a noble profession of medicine. After immigrated to the United States, she continued her healing journey as a dedicated medical assistant until her well-deserved retirement in 2018.
She found solace and strength in her faith as a member of St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church. Her spirituality guided her actions, and her kindness touched the lives of many.
Among her many passions, Marjana found joy in traveling and exploring the wonders of the world. However, her greatest source of happiness came from being surrounded by her beloved grandchildren. She lovingly cooked for them, creating cherished memories with each shared meal. Her nurturing spirit and warmth made her a pillar of strength within her family.
Marjana will be remembered as a remarkable woman whose generosity knew no bounds. Her legacy of love, compassion, and unwavering strength will live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate enough to know her.
May her soul rest in peace, and her memory be a blessing to us all.
Her visitation is Friday, March 22nd from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. in St. Mary’s Assumption Albanian Orthodox Church, 535 Salisbury Street, Worcester followed by her funeral service at NOON. Burial will be in Hope Cemetery. O’CONNOR BROTHERS FUNERAL HOME, 592 Park Avenue is assisting the family with arrangements.
