Juanita Willis Bryan Allen, 86, of Tifton passed away Thursday, May 29, 2003, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Her funeral service was held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 31, 2003, in the Chapel of Bowen-Donaldson Home for Funerals with the Rev. Dr. W. Ches Smith, III and the Rev. Dr. Wayne Roe officiating. Mrs. Allen was laid to rest at Oak Ridge Cemetery.
W. Wheeler Bryan Jr., James Michael Hannon, Charles Richard Fana, William C. Lankford Jr., Robert Morgan Moon and Lewis Edward Willis served as pallbearers.
Born August 7, 1916, in Norman Park, Mrs. Allen was the daughter of the late Wheeler Hampton Willis and Mattie Victoria Williams Willis. She was also preceded in death by one sister, Betty Ann Willis; and one brother, Lewis Henry Willis. She was a retired school teacher; and she was a member of Tifton's First Baptist Church. She had lived in Tifton for approximately 75 years.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her husband, Henry Banks Allen of Tifton; one son and daughter-in-law, W. Wheeler Sr. and Anne Bryan of Atlanta; one daughter, Vicky Bryan Orr of Tifton; one sister, Norma Willis Lankford of Tifton; three grandchildren and their spouses, Jennifer Orr Fana and her husband, Dr. Charles Richard Fana of Savannah, W. Wheeler Bryan, Jr. and Marie Bryan Hannon and her husband, James Michael Hannon, all of Atlanta; and one great grandson, Charles Patrick Hannon, III of Atlanta.
